The service

GuteBook.com emails you public-domain books, sourced from Project Gutenberg, in daily or weekly portions toward a finish date you choose. It's provided free of charge and without any account. This is a small indie website. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery, and a portion may occasionally arrive late or be adjusted around a chapter break.

Fair use of the controls

The "send next portion" control is limited to once a day. Repeated same-day requests will get a warning and then a suggestion to buy a physical or e-book copy instead, this keeps delivery sustainable for everyone.

Some links point to Amazon listings for a book. GuteBook.com is a participant in the Amazon Associates program and may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you.

No warranty

The service and its content are provided "as is." Project Gutenberg texts may contain transcription artifacts from the original source; we don't warrant their accuracy or completeness.
